Bjorn's debut album now available on streaming services worldwide

Svif, Bjorn's 1982 album is now available on services including Spotify, iTunes, Google Play and Amazon Music

In 1982, Bjorn Thoroddsen's debut album, Svif, was released in Iceland on vinyl and cassette. The album, released soon after Bjorn returned to Iceland from his studies at Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood, features some of Iceland's leading musicians at the time, including Jakob Magnusson (keyboard) , Eythor Gunnarsson (Fender Rhodes), Kristinn Svavarsson (sax), Gudmundur Ingolfsson (piano), Hjortur Howser (keyboard) and many more. Bjorn's friends from his school days in Hollywood, Mikael Berglund (bass) and Hans Rolin (drums), also feature here. The album was released before the CD era and was never re-issued on that format. This year however (2017), in celebration of the album's 35 year anniversary, the album has finally been digitally transferred and is now available on all major streaming and download platforms - links below: Amazon Music:  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0732RWLQF/ref=dm_ws_sp_ps_dp iTunes:  https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/svif/id1248613906 Google Play:  https://play.google.com/store/music/album/Bjorn_Thoroddsen_Svif?id=Bjgjodtwv6lkdx5y53fr44pd4ee TIDAL:  http://tidal.com/is/store/album/75104666 Spotify:  https://open.spotify.com/album/6NwCBAbHvt9XwX0vbC0EZn
